About Us
More Than a Mount:
A Legacy of Clean Installs
From one tech’s fix to a standard in the field.
This is our story.
Milestones That Made Us

Foundation & First Fixes (1984–1993)
- 1984 - St. Michael’s College: The First Fix
A tech wrecks a brand-new ATM trying to install a camera. Jim designs a custom housing to save the unit on-site. That one-off fix becomes the blueprint for a business built on clean, clever hardware. - 1987 - Enfab Becomes Official
Years of hands on solutions lead to the creation of Enfab Incorporated, the company that focuses on camera integration hardware — not in volume, but in precision. - Late 1980s - From Mounts to Systems
Began making full controller assemblies, wiring harnesses, and mounts — all designed, built, and tested in-house. No outsourcing. Just capability built from customer feedback. - Early 1990s - Local Sheet Metal = Speed
With access to family-run metal fabricators, our lead times can be reduced to days. That speed lets us respond and iterate faster while maintaining high quality parts. - 1993 - The Clean Mounting Standard
We begin shipping no-drill, low-profile mounts that make installs look factory made. Paint-matched. No damage. Just in, secure, and done right.

Precision Over Scale (1999–2016)
- 1999 - Hardware You Can Trust
Integrators begin turning to Enfab when off-the-shelf doesn’t cut it. We stay focused on low-volume, high-fit solutions that work the first time. - 2010 - Still Small, Still Sharp
While others chase scale, we chase agility. We build what we know, support what we ship, and update only when the field calls for it. - 2016 - 3D Printing, In-House
FDM printing allows testing of new ideas overnight. Prototyping becomes faster — no tooling, no wait, and no compromising the install.

New Hands, Same Craft (2018–2024)
- 2018 - The Next Set of Hands Joins the Bench
Andrew DeBenedetto initially hired — learning by assembling, wiring, and shipping what goes out the door. The process matters. That’s how you earn your place. - 2023 - Ownership Changes. Philosophy Doesn’t.
Andrew DeBenedetto becomes official Owner. With years of experience, he upgraded materials (SLS nylon), improved part logic, and shortened lead times. - 2024 - 800+ Configurations. Still Built in Batches.
Enfab crosses 800 configurations — variations on mounts, brackets, kits. Still small-batch. Still made to solve a problem, not just fill a catalog.

Smarter Support, Same Spirit (2025–2026)
- 2025 - Getting Smarter on the Back End
Rollout of online storefront and interactive catalog to support quoting and reorders. It’s about making things easier for integrators — not changing how we build. - 2026 - Modular. Printed. Made to Fit.
More designs made by SLS. Modular kits make installs cleaner and faster. We stay small, but now move quicker — and build tighter with every cycle.
